Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stamford Bridge's goalkeeper Kurt Atkins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Jasper Morning left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watchet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 16th minute, Watchet's Roger Blowman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stamford Bridge's goalkeeper Kurt Atkins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kurt Atkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Blowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Atkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Blowman in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Stamford Bridge's Kurt Atkins got control of the ball when Jasper Morning tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jasper Morning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Roger Blowman came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Watchet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Blowman couldn't finish the play. Jasper Morning succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 47th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Roger Blowman took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Atkins. Kurt Atkins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Stamford Bridge's Kurt Atkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Morning in the 57th minute of play. When Watchet's Roger Blowman in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Stamford Bridge's Kurt Atkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Morning in the 63rd minute of play. Jasper Morning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Atkins having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Stamford Bridge's Vic Longley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sacha York. That made the score 4-1 after 69 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jasper Morning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watchet's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Morning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Atkins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the game, Watchet's Roger Blowman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Atkins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. If Jasper Morning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Atkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Blowman in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Jasper Morning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Atkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Lewis Draper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Watchet's Roger Blowman in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Kurt Atkins guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 91stth minute of the game Jasper Morning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stamford Bridge's Kurt Atkins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jasper Morning in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Atkins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kurt Atkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Blowman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Morning in the 95th minute of play forced Stamford Bridge's goalkeeper Kurt Atkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Stamford Bridge defense, Roger Blowman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Atkins. The Stamford Bridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Atkins should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Watchet had played much better football throughout.
