Tom Westwood kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Maidstone United AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathon Long came free, but Mickey Naisbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Maidstone United AFC booed when FC Partizan Minsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Chipperfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jonathon Long had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 36 played minutes FC Partizan Minsk got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Hart. Stefan Chegwyn hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rowan Bacon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Naisbitt having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Marcus Rose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Chipperfield struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Mickey Naisbitt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Partizan Minsk.

Mike Way showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Keanu Lister's late challenge caught a FC Partizan Minsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keanu Lister helped the player get up and apologised. Keanu Lister hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Richard Lindley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maidstone United AFC's Mickey Naisbitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowan Bacon in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Jonathon Long had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickey Naisbitt. Maidstone United AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathon Long was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
