After a defensive mix-up in Maidstone United AFC's zone, Hugh Sheene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mickey Naisbitt came out of the goal and Hugh Sheene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mickey Naisbitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Maidstone United AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Brandon Lloyd hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Maidstone United AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cliff Johnson came free, but Mickey Naisbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Hugh Sheene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Gordon Lawless threw the ball into play from the sideline. Reggina Rangers FC's Carlton Gill quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A hard shot 90 in the game by Cliff Johnson from a close distance when the talented Mickey Naisbitt managed to make a qualified save. Maidstone United AFC's players were relieved. Cliff Johnson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Mickey Naisbitt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
