Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Seth England started the match with the kick off. The supporters of St. Etienne booed when Yellow Submarine FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trey Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddie Knowles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eddie Cadwallader. Yellow Submarine FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, St. Etienne's Marek Chilton got a free kick in the 10th minute. Felix Chapman kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Trey Ingram's shot from long distance in the 16th minute was not bad at all, but St. Etienne's Joe Ellerby knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 18 played minutes St. Etienne got a freekick which was hit by Seth England. After having played for 22 minutes, Seth England managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St. Etienne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seth England was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joel Castledine came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the St. Etienne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Castledine couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Sebastien Murtagh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. St. Etienne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yellow Submarine FC the free kick. In the 29th minute Rufus Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Ellerby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yellow Submarine FC's Norman Blake got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sebastien Murtagh was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 37th minute, Sebastien Murtagh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Harvey Branch elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 45 minutes of play St. Etienne's Seth England was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 46th match minute, St. Etienne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seth England to maneuver through the defense. Joe Ellerby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Moss, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Yellow Submarine FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. St. Etienne were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronnie Moss was the one to do the kick off. St. Etienne's Joe Ellerby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Moss in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, St. Etienne's Harvey Branch got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Neil Brady ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joe Ellerby was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Todd in the 58th minute of play forced St. Etienne's goalkeeper Joe Ellerby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Chilton kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With 64 minutes on the clock, Felix Chapman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 64th minute, one of St. Etienne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for St. Etienne. The referee gave Yellow Submarine FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Trey Ingram, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of St. Etienne's Joe Ellerby. 2-1. In the 71st minute, Harvey Branch reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eddie Cadwallader. The goal made the score 2-2. St. Etienne's Christian Osbon got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marek Chilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Yellow Submarine FC booed when St. Etienne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Osbon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barney Barfield charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barney Barfield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Barney Barfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brynn Bambrook kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ronnie Moss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddie Cadwallader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Chilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. St. Etienne were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
