The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Hallam was the one to do the kick off. Beinn McGrath was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steven Chadwick showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. In the 56th minute, Stew Langsford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Billy Hallam in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Gunn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Billy Hallam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Gunn was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Billy Hallam sped through K. Beerschot VAC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stefan Gunn.
