Eddie Cadwallader was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cliff Johnson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 11 minute of play. Vernon Leslie charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vernon Leslie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Reggina Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugh Sheene. 2-2 came in the 22nd minute when Trey Ingram all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of George Milton. Stefan Hayles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Eddie Cadwallader when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Cliff Johnson in the 27th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. George Milton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rufus Todd went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Eddie Cadwallader made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cliff Johnson in the 35th minute. Yellow Submarine FC's Eddie Cadwallader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cliff Johnson in the 36th minute of play. Vernon Leslie was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Yellow Submarine FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Yellow Submarine FC's Barney Barfield sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Milton narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
