Middlesbrough Ironopolis's Tyrone Hartshorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Kershaw in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Middlesbrough Ironopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Kershaw came free, but Tyrone Hartshorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Luke Butcher made the kick off in the second half. Felix McCartney was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Crowther showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
