Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wesley Robinson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Qurbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Vic Johnson. Dale Nelson made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Leon Vickers sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jon Newman managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Newman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Carter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jon Newman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Carter having to interfere. Lucas Ball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Wesley Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Nelson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Sidney Dunn put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Philip Carter. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wesley Robinson in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Nelson saved AFC Wimbledon Wombles from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Ken Walton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qurbo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Wimbledon Wombles the free kick. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Qurbo FC! Qurbo FC's Wesley Robinson got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Dale Nelson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Robinson in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Wesley Robinson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dale Nelson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The AFC Wimbledon Wombles fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when AFC Wimbledon Wombles's Sidney Dunn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Philip Carter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Dunn in the 42nd minute of the match. Vic Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidney Dunn made a kick off. Wesley Robinson succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. If Leon Vickers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd match minute, Qurbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Robinson to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Sidney Dunn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Wimbledon Wombles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Sidney Dunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Vickers struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dale Nelson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qurbo FC. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Wimbledon Wombles's zone, Leon Vickers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Nelson came out of the goal and Leon Vickers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wes Wills received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Philip Carter came out and tried to block the shot, but Wes Wills slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Qurbo FC's Philip Carter got control of the ball when Jon Newman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Philip Carter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Leon Vickers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes AFC Wimbledon Wombles got a freekick which was hit by Brendon Crouch. AFC Wimbledon Wombles played a much better game than Qurbo FC and deserved their victory. The Qurbo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
