Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Richard Rogers made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Polzeath's Darius Bell got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Darius Bell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chaz Quinn. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. A collision led to Inter FC Torino getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nathan Theobold hit a great ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Richard Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polzeath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Inter FC Torino's Ivor Burrows got a free kick in the 9th minute. Chaz Quinn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Rogers in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Richard Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaz Quinn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Chaz Quinn managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Polzeath's Darius Bell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 20 minutes into the game, Syd Kinsey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Chaz Quinn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Polzeath defense, Crispin Coulson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John-Paul Nevin. The Polzeath fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John-Paul Nevin should have stopped the shot. Polzeath's John-Paul Nevin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crispin Coulson in the 26th minute of play. If Crispin Coulson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John-Paul Nevin came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter FC Torino's Jay Beattie. But to his dismay, Jay Beattie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Chaz Quinn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Rogers in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Polzeath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Syd Kinsey to maneuver through the defense. John-Paul Nevin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Beattie in the 41st minute of the match. Crispin Coulson struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. John-Paul Nevin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter FC Torino. Crispin Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John-Paul Nevin having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
John-Paul Nevin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Rhodes in the 54th minute of play. Chaz Quinn came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Polzeath's Darius Bell. But to his dismay, Darius Bell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 61st minute, Steve Stamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crispin Coulson had several of the Polzeath's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-3 score and a disappointed John-Paul Nevin as he didn't even see the shot coming. John-Paul Nevin stood somewhat misplaced when Crispin Coulson came free in front of goal and shot 4-4 to the left of him in the 65 minute. In the 68th match minute, Polzeath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Bateman to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Pierre Rhodes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of John-Paul Nevin. The goal made the score 4-5. Chaz Quinn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syd Kinsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Chaz Quinn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Syd Kinsey went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. John-Paul Nevin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crispin Coulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Polzeath's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Crispin Coulson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darius Bell in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chaz Quinn saved Inter FC Torino from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Inter FC Torino's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Rogers came free, but Chaz Quinn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter FC Torino were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Polzeath to leave the ground with a draw.
