Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bury AFC's Ozzy Norton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the game Keanu Bannatyne made a throw-in which Jimmy Little played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Seaman in the 7th minute of play forced Fowey FC's goalkeeper Mickey Bramble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Bury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Little to maneuver through the defense. Nicholas Joynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Gamble having to interfere. Ron Stonehouse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robbie Gamble having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Norton in the 20th minute of play forced Fowey FC's goalkeeper Mickey Bramble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Nicholas Joynes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Gamble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Nicholas Joynes rounded Bury AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Nicholas Joynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Gamble having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Robert Smith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bury AFC and the Fowey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 35 minutes, Fowey FC's Nicholas Joynes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Robbie Gamble. If Nat Connor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Danny Allott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicholas Joynes to strike the kick off in the second half. Danny Allott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Gamble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Joynes in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Nat Connor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Robert Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Calvin Beckett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Robbie Gamble was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute Nicholas Joynes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Gamble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Allott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Gamble having to interfere. Robbie Gamble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Joynes in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Bury AFC's Dominic Seaman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mickey Bramble narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fowey FC's Mickey Bramble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Norton in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Nicholas Joynes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbie Gamble was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Mickey Bramble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzy Norton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicholas Joynes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Robbie Gamble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fowey FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
