Spectators: 8147 (Terracing: 6111, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 162) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niall Pryor took the kick off in the first half of the match. When West Buckland AFC's Craig Button in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kings Lynn's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Kings Lynn's goalkeeper Americo Fidensio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jools Button. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Martyn Sheene managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kings Lynn's supporters rose to their feet, but Martyn Sheene was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Bridgewater breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joe Bridgewater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Timiney in the 18th minute of play. Teddy Timiney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joe Bridgewater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Bridgewater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Timiney in the 24th minute of the match. Jools Button could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Americo Fidensio made a huge save. If Teddy Timiney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Martyn Sheene ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joe Bridgewater was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Henry Wright's late challenge caught a Kings Lynn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Wright helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Kings Lynn a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hans Kvalsvik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of West Buckland AFC's Joe Bridgewater. 0-2. Americo Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niall Pryor in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Teddy Timiney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joe Bridgewater was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Teddy Timiney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Martyn Sheene made the kick off in the second half. Teddy Timiney scored 0-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joe Bridgewater, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Kings Lynn's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Duke came free, but Americo Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. West Buckland AFC's Joe Bridgewater proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save West Buckland AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Kings Lynn's Teddy Timiney ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joe Bridgewater. Joe Bridgewater yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. If Jochen Göring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Martyn Sheene kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joe Bridgewater. That made the score 0-6 in the 77 minute of play. Martyn Sheene might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joe Bridgewater. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martyn Sheene ran back to his position shaking his head. Joe Bridgewater didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy Timiney went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Americo Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niall Pryor in the 85th minute of play. Teddy Timiney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joe Bridgewater read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When Craig Button fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Buckland AFC's protests and gave Craig Button a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to West Buckland AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Craig Button hit a great ball. Joe Bridgewater stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martyn Sheene's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Hans Kvalsvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Bridgewater having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Henry Wright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, West Buckland AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Martyn Sheene came free, but Joe Bridgewater reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Kings Lynn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than West Buckland AFC.
