Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Legia's CJ Brady started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Christopher Rayner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute CJ Brady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kris Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Phil Blowman charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phil Blowman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Legia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Blowman to maneuver through the defense. Jack Nethercot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Blowman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Phil Blowman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jack Nethercot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Christopher Rayner put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Trev Fitter. Christopher Rayner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Alf Gunn fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia's protests and gave Alf Gunn a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Legia got a freekick which was hit by Alf Gunn. Ted Lyons made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warminster AFC's Stuart Welsh. In the 42nd minute, Leo Freeman made a precise shot to the right of Jack Nethercot. Warminster AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some careless play in the Warminster AFC defense, Phil Blowman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Nethercot. The Warminster AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Nethercot should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christopher Rayner to strike the kick off in the second half. Trev Fitter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Warminster AFC's attentive Nicholas Hartson managed to snatch the ball when Alf Gunn made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. Jack Nethercot was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and CJ Brady capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. CJ Brady really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Trev Fitter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Rayner in the 68th minute of play. Jack Nethercot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michael Wardle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 70 minute of play. Des Hutchinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trev Fitter having to interfere. Kris Drake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kris Drake charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kris Drake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Warminster AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kris Drake hit a great ball. Leo Freeman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jack Nethercot made a huge save. Christopher Rayner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Trev Fitter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Leo Freeman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Legia played a much better game than Warminster AFC and deserved their victory. The Warminster AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
