Kristopher Rowell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garry Cheesman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Liverpool1978's Albert Ford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnnie Roche in the 17th minute of play. The wind increased when Garry Cheesman made the kick off in the second half. Sacha Foreman hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Wes Hurren struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Albert Ford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fakenham. In the 59th minute Johnnie Roche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Ford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Ford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Hurren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johnnie Roche took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Ford. Albert Ford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Albert Ford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Hurren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Liverpool1978 defense, Johnnie Roche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Ford. The Liverpool1978 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Ford should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Liverpool1978's Garry Cheesman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristopher Rowell. Kristopher Rowell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. A hard shot 79 in the game by Garry Cheesman from a close distance when the talented Kristopher Rowell managed to make a qualified save. Fakenham's players were relieved. When Rob Norman came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Liverpool1978 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rob Norman couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Fakenham defense, Garry Cheesman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristopher Rowell. The Fakenham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristopher Rowell should have stopped the shot. In the 96thth minute of the game Garry Cheesman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fakenham's Kristopher Rowell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liverpool1978 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fakenham.
