The crowd rose to their feet as Ronny Reddington kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jack Nethercot. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Warminster AFC's Jack Nethercot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Knight-Percival in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Rayner in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kris Patten saved Wombwell United from getting behind. Kris Drake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Patten having to interfere. Christopher Rayner took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kris Patten. Kris Patten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Jerry Knight-Percival dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jack Nethercot, 2-1. In the 25th minute, David Markham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wombwell United's attentive Marek Newman managed to snatch the ball when Stuart Welsh made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Wombwell United's Jerry Knight-Percival ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jack Nethercot. Jack Nethercot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Ronny Reddington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jack Nethercot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Reddington in the 43rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Wombwell United's Jack Nethercot threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ronny Reddington, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christopher Rayner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jack Nethercot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Warminster AFC's Jack Nethercot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Reddington in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wombwell United had played much better football throughout.
