When Lawrence Peyton fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warminster AFC's protests and gave Lawrence Peyton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Warminster AFC's Lawrence Peyton got a free kick in the 38th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Rupert Barton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jack Nethercot, 3-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wes Hurren to make the kick off. Kristopher Rowell made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Des Hutchinson sent off a good shot on target. Ashley Dodd's late challenge caught a Fakenham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ashley Dodd helped the player get up and apologised. Ashley Dodd hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Jack Nethercot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Hurren, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute.
