Jack Nethercot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Gray in the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Warminster AFC defense, Jack Carey-Bertram kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Nethercot. The Warminster AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Nethercot should have stopped the shot. Shane Ruddock made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Christopher Rayner sent off a good shot on target. Grant Waterhouse hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Damian Patterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Howard Pearce charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Howard Pearce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Howard Pearce kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jack Nethercot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conal Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Warminster AFC were furious when Nicholas Hartson was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 18 minutes into the game, one of Warminster AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jack Nethercot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conal Gray in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Carey-Bertram in the 27th minute of play forced Warminster AFC's goalkeeper Jack Nethercot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Nethercot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Carey-Bertram in the 28th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Conal Gray made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Warminster AFC's Jack Nethercot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kris Drake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Shane Ruddock made a huge save. 36 minutes into the game, Jack Carey-Bertram cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jack Nethercot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jack Nethercot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Patterson went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Kris Drake's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shane Ruddock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play Ambleside's Howard Pearce was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ambleside getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Howard Pearce hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Des Hutchinson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jack Carey-Bertram made a precise shot to the right of Jack Nethercot. Warminster AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 59th minute Conal Gray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stuart Welsh's late challenge caught a Ambleside's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stuart Welsh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Stuart Welsh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Warminster AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jack Carey-Bertram fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 63rd minute Conal Gray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Nethercot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conal Gray succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. If Kris Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kris Drake during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conal Gray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Nethercot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conal Gray, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Shane Ruddock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Drake in the 83rd minute of play. Stuart Welsh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Ruddock having to interfere. A collision led to Ambleside getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rufus Woolford hit a great ball. If Des Hutchinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Des Hutchinson notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Ambleside's Shane Ruddock. Shane Ruddock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ambleside's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
