Blair Davey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conal Pollock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Barry Griggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A collision led to Kilburn, Westbourne Park getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Barry Griggs hit a great ball. Kilburn, Westbourne Park's Blair Davey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conal Pollock in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, Kilburn, Westbourne Park's Jonathon Cummings made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralph Hutchins was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Kilburn, Westbourne Park's Jonathon Cummings slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ralph Hutchins. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommy Spears kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ralph Hutchins. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Donny Messenger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stan Barber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralph Hutchins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Titan Boys FC's Ralph Hutchins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Spears in the 27th minute of play. Kilburn, Westbourne Park's Blair Davey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Cheesman in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Kilburn, Westbourne Park got a freekick which was hit by Vern Hendley. Conal Pollock struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Blair Davey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titan Boys FC. In the 39th minute, Benjamin Atherton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Titan Boys FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Francis Connery kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The long shot by Stan Barber in the 42nd minute really tested Ralph Hutchins's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Will Nevin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ralph Hutchins. Will Nevin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stan Barber to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Conal Pollock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Titan Boys FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conal Pollock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blair Davey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Kilburn, Westbourne Park booed when Titan Boys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gez Heslop didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Barber in the 63rd minute of play forced Titan Boys FC's goalkeeper Ralph Hutchins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Titan Boys FC's Will Cheesman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stan Barber in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralph Hutchins saved Titan Boys FC from getting behind. Stan Barber charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stan Barber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Stan Barber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralph Hutchins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Nevin in the 87th minute of the match. Conal Pollock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blair Davey having to interfere. Graham Noble kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Gez Heslop struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Blair Davey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titan Boys FC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kilburn, Westbourne Park had won after a very even match.
