An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Atkins in the 37th minute of play forced Monte Castro FC's goalkeeper Jeffrey Hindmarsh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Watford FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Gaz Hardwick scored to the left of an out of position Pat Berryman, making the score, 2-0. Pat Berryman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaz Hardwick in the 42nd minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Atkins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Monte Castro FC's Marty Coogan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joe Tate in the 53 minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Gaz Hardwick made a precise shot to the right of Pat Berryman. Watford FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Jerry Atkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pat Berryman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaz Hardwick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaz Hardwick in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pat Berryman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Arsenio Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Watford FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monte Castro FC.
