The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alec Legzdins made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Will Hotte sent off a good shot on target. After 7 minutes, Julian Wilson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rochester United and the Atletico Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Rochester United got a freekick which was hit by Julian Wilson. 8 minutes into the match, Rochester United's goal looked a bit too open when Will Hotte came free, but Alec Legzdins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rochester United's Alec Legzdins got control of the ball when Will Hotte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute, Andre Pollard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Leon Hudson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alec Legzdins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alec Legzdins was a little too slow when Leon Hudson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Alec Legzdins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Felix Rouse lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Rochester United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico Roma:s goal. In the 22nd minute, Atletico Roma got a penalty, and Will Hotte placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Alec Legzdins didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. When Atletico Roma's Leon Hudson in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rochester United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Leon Hudson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rochester United's Alec Legzdins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alec Legzdins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Alec Legzdins came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Roma's Andre Pollard. But to his dismay, Andre Pollard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 34 minutes into the match, Rochester United's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Hudson came free, but Alec Legzdins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alec Legzdins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Pollard in the 35th minute of the match. Alec Legzdins made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Will Hotte sent off a good shot on target. Rochester United's Alec Legzdins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Zamora in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Will Hotte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Will Hotte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When Jeff Lennon fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Roma's protests and gave Jeff Lennon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Andre Pollard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alec Legzdins was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 63rd minute, Jo Zamora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Hudson in the 66th minute of play forced Rochester United's goalkeeper Alec Legzdins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alec Legzdins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Hotte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andre Pollard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alec Legzdins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Lennon, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jeff Lennon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alec Legzdins having to make a save. If Andre Pollard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Will Hotte notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Rochester United's Alec Legzdins. Alec Legzdins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alec Legzdins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Will Hotte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Roma fully deserved thier win.
