After 6 minutes of play, Powerpuffs's Jo Rooney made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alec Legzdins was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Jo Rooney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alec Legzdins was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Henry Dawson made a precise shot to the right of Alec Legzdins. Rochester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 25th minute, Henry Dawson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Powerpuffs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Henry Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Tosh Clayton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alec Legzdins. Rochester United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tosh Clayton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Alec Legzdins came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Powerpuffs's Jo Rooney. But to his dismay, Jo Rooney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Tosh Clayton struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Alec Legzdins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Powerpuffs. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Millman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Rochester United got a freekick which was hit by Karl Millman. Alec Legzdins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jasper Robson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 58 minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Powerpuffs's Tosh Clayton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alec Legzdins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Tosh Clayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Henry Dawson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alec Legzdins. The crowd rose to their feet as Jasper Robson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alec Legzdins. That made the score 0-10 in the 71 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rochester United's Tristram Perkins got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jo Rooneys short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Alec Legzdins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alec Legzdins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Dawson in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Powerpuffs booed when Rochester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Wilson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rochester United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Jo Rooney scored to the left of an out of position Alec Legzdins, making the score, 0-11. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jo Rooney put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Alec Legzdins. Jo Rooney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Alec Legzdins made a huge save. Tosh Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
