Ed Conway was slow to take the kick. During this time Keggers Hill's players had a chance to rest. After 34 played minutes Keggers Hill got a freekick which was hit by Dion Shipley. Kristian Seaward took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Gettins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Stu Hughes fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keggers Hill's protests and gave Stu Hughes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Keggers Hill's Stu Hughes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Gettins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Keggers Hill's zone, Doug West stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Seaward came out of the goal and Doug West tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Rawson got free with Kristian Seaward in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frazer Pollard in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paddy Carpenter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, David Gettins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, FC ZUPANY's goal looked a bit too open when William Foster came free, but Paddy Carpenter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
