An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Rooney in the 5th minute of play forced Atletico Roma's goalkeeper Fedele Scutti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Atletico Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Dawson came free, but Fedele Scutti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedele Scutti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Rooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Rooney in the 15th minute of play forced Atletico Roma's goalkeeper Fedele Scutti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Henry Dawson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fedele Scutti. Atletico Roma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Dawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice moves Will Hotte could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Oliver Tubbs however easily saved by the left post. If Will Hotte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Andre Pollard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jo Rooney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Will Hotte struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Oliver Tubbs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Roma. Jasper Robson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jasper Robson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Andre Pollard made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Tubbs. Powerpuffs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 59 minutes into the game, Will Hotte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Oliver Tubbs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Tubbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Lennon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Will Hotte made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Tubbs. Powerpuffs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 67th minute Leon Hudson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Tubbs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Tubbs came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Roma's Will Hotte. But to his dismay, Will Hotte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 75th minute Will Hotte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Tubbs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Atletico Roma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Powerpuffs:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fedele Scutti, was totally fooled by Powerpuffs's Zeferino Machado, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Will Hotte came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Atletico Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Will Hotte couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Will Hotte made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Tubbs. Powerpuffs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. Andre Pollard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliver Tubbs having to make a save. Jo Rooney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Fedele Scutti made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atletico Roma had won after a very even match.
