Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dean Atkins started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Foster got free with Carl Budden in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frazer Pollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Budden having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dean Atkins in the 6th minute of play forced Keggers Hill's goalkeeper Kristian Seaward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Craig Snowden in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Seaward saved Keggers Hill from getting behind. Nicky Whitmore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristian Seaward. Keggers Hill's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Keggers Hill's William Foster nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Budden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Hextable United booed when Keggers Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Brearley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Seaward came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hextable United's Craig Snowden. But to his dismay, Craig Snowden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Frazer Pollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Budden having to interfere. William Foster charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Foster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Keggers Hill got a freekick which was hit by William Foster. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Snowden in the 31st minute of play forced Keggers Hill's goalkeeper Kristian Seaward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristian Seaward took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Atkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Keggers Hill defense, Dean Atkins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Seaward. The Keggers Hill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Seaward should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Dean Atkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Tyler Cahill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frazer Pollard to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, William Foster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keggers Hill's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Foster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes Hextable United got a freekick which was hit by Pete Vaughn. In the 55th minute, William Foster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Hextable United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ethan French to maneuver through the defense. Kristian Seaward made an important save on a dangerous shot by Craig Snowden in the 60th minute. In the 61st match minute, Keggers Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Conway to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Craig Snowden got free with Kristian Seaward in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristian Seaward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devon Bassett, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Tyler Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hextable United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyler Cahill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keggers Hill's Kristian Seaward proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Keggers Hill from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Keggers Hill's Stevie Hill got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Dean Atkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Seaward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Keggers Hill's William Foster in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hextable United's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frazer Pollard in the 76th minute of play forced Hextable United's goalkeeper Carl Budden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Dean Atkins notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Keggers Hill's Kristian Seaward. Kristian Seaward was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Hextable United's Kristian Seaward threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dean Atkins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Craig Snowden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Kristian Seaward made a huge save. Frazer Pollard struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Carl Budden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keggers Hill. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hextable United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Jake Hume walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The Hextable United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
