Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frazer Pollard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kristian Seaward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damon Fordham in the 4th minute of play. When Damon Fordham came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Cheltenham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damon Fordham couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Keggers Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Danza came free, but Kristian Seaward reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Cheltenham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stuart Hicks to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Alessandro Danza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Keggers Hill's Kristian Seaward. Kristian Seaward was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 played minutes Keggers Hill got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Renwick. With an all-out effort, Keggers Hill's Silvester Stallone threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frazer Pollard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Keggers Hill defense, Alessandro Danza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Seaward. The Keggers Hill fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Seaward should have stopped the shot. Alessandro Danza struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Kristian Seaward didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheltenham City. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Danza in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Seaward saved Keggers Hill from getting behind. Silvester Stallone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frazer Pollard, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Simon Flemming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessandro Danza was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Keggers Hill booed when Cheltenham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Danza didn't get a good kick on the ball.
