In the 11th play minute Nathan Garnett came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Toby Browne. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Dominik Blake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barnaba Wisniewski. Mansfield Quarry FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominik Blake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 35 played minutes, Boscastle's Howard Hardwick shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Barnaba Wisniewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boscastle reached it. Toby Browne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Bennet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Blake in the 39th minute of play forced Mansfield Quarry FC's goalkeeper Barnaba Wisniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nathan Garnett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Zackary Page left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boscastle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Boscastle's Toby Browne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Boscastle from getting a goal against them. Barnaba Wisniewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Hutchins in the 48th minute of the match.

After some careless play in the Boscastle defense, Nathan Garnett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toby Browne. The Boscastle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toby Browne should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Boscastle's Thom Falkingham got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dominik Blake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mansfield Quarry FC's Barnaba Wisniewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Hutchins in the 62nd minute of play. Les Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mansfield Quarry FC's Christopher Peake got a free kick in the 75th minute. Gavin Hampshire kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Mansfield Quarry FC's Nathan Garnett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toby Browne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 94th minute, Thom Falkingham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rich Bennet might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toby Browne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rich Bennet ran back to his position shaking his head. The Boscastle players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mansfield Quarry FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
