The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frazer Senior during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sheringham AFC's Frazer Senior got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dodge City's goalkeeper Alisson Stegen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Den Allott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofanis Papadimidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Arthur Reindahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dodge City's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Reindahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Den Allott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Den Allott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Reindahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Sheringham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Button came free, but Den Allott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stew Elliott kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Nicholas Bennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alisson Stegen having to interfere. Den Allott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Reindahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Den Allott made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Arthur Reindahl sent off a good shot on target. Den Allott didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Reindahl went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dodge City's Danny Button got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Dodge City's Piers Cotterill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Den Allott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Reindahl got free with Den Allott in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arthur Reindahl did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Den Allott 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Jim Ainge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheringham AFC and the Dodge City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Jim Ainge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Den Allott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Reindahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dodge City's Theofanis Papadimidis got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sheringham AFC's Ged Blackwell got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Dodge City's Piers Cotterill made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Den Allott was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Arthur Reindahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Den Allott was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Theofanis Papadimidis scored 7-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Den Allott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Dodge City fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Dodge City's Arthur Reindahl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Sheringham AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Stew Elliott hit a great ball. Sheringham AFC's Den Allott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Reindahl in the 84th minute of play. Piers Cotterill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Den Allott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Theofanis Papadimidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Dodge City were the better team. Dodge City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
