When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Devon Bale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Sweeney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devon Bale, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Surbiton 17's Richard Purvis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Locke in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Luke Kirkpatrick made a precise shot to the right of Richard Purvis. Surbiton 17's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
