Spectators: 6988 (Terracing: 5988, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Mansfield Quarry FC booed when Sheringham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Ainge didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Camron Leslie in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mansfield Quarry FC's Ollie Marston. If Rich Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas Bennett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Nathan Garnett notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sheringham AFC's Den Allott. Den Allott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nathan Garnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rich Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Den Allott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Rich Bennet made a precise shot to the right of Den Allott. Sheringham AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ollie Marston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Den Allott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basil Deighton charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basil Deighton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basil Deighton hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rich Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Mansfield Quarry FC's Jay Pearch to fire away a dangerous shot which Den Allott despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Den Allott made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Nathan Garnett sent off a good shot on target. Luke Haseldine hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Jim Ainge hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Piers Claydon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mansfield Quarry FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
