It was beautiful to see Costa FC's Garth Way in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Callum Banks's late challenge caught a Costa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Callum Banks helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Sheringham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Callum Banks. 16 minutes into the match, Sheringham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Chesney Hammett came free, but Den Allott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Den Allott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Sweeney, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Chesney Hammett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chesney Hammett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Sheringham AFC defense, Sean Drysdale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Den Allott. The Sheringham AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Den Allott should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Costa FC booed when Sheringham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frazer Senior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chesney Hammett in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Den Allott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camron Leslie charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camron Leslie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sheringham AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Camron Leslie hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Sweeney in the 38th minute of play forced Sheringham AFC's goalkeeper Den Allott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Sheringham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Callum Banks. Den Allott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chesney Hammett in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Sweeney to make the kick off. Den Allott didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chesney Hammett went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Tommy Rawlings got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chesney Hammett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Den Allott made a huge save.
