Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adrian Sweeney made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Shaktar Boyz got a freekick which was hit by Alf Stamp. Chesney Hammett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garth Lynch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Keiran Storry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute of the match Wes Groom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roy Brighton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vance Browne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Garth Lynch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute Vance Browne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keiran Storry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chesney Hammett in the 24th minute of play forced Shaktar Boyz's goalkeeper Roy Brighton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vance Browne in the 28th minute of play forced Costa FC's goalkeeper Keiran Storry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Costa FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sean Drysdale hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game Jonny Brookman kicked a great long shot which passed Keiran Storry straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-0. One couldn't see Jonny Brookman behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. In the 38thth minute of the game Vance Browne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa FC's Keiran Storry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Costa FC's Keiran Storry got control of the ball when Garth Lynch tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Shaktar Boyz got a freekick which was hit by Darius Morris. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vance Browne made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Garth Lynch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa FC's goalkeeper Keiran Storry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costa FC's Keiran Storry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Lynch in the 61st minute of play. Keiran Storry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Lynch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vance Browne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keiran Storry having to interfere. In the 75th minute Vance Browne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keiran Storry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garth Lynch took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keiran Storry. Keiran Storry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Vance Browne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Keiran Storry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Alf Stamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Costa FC's Garth Way tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Shaktar Boyz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Morris to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match, Garth Way got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roy Brighton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Vance Browne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Shaktar Boyz had played much better football throughout.
