Harvey Donnelly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathanial Ottaway in the 10th minute of the match. When Ivan Connett fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NEW MILLS F.C.'s protests and gave Ivan Connett a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NEW MILLS F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ivan Connett hit a great ball. NEW MILLS F.C.'s Harvey Donnelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Hargrave in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Allan Hargrave had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harvey Donnelly. NEW MILLS F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Hargrave was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st match minute, Kidmore End City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Jenkinson to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Ivan McDonald from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Carl Frampton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dean Llyod charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Llyod the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as NEW MILLS F.C.'s Keith Rusk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carl Frampton. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. The supporters of NEW MILLS F.C. booed when Kidmore End City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Jenkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carl Frampton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith Rusk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Edward Haxby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kidmore End City and the NEW MILLS F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edward Haxby kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Glenn McGurk hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Ivan McDonald sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kidmore End City's Carl Frampton didn't even have to move. In the 36th minute Ivan Connett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Frampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan McDonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Carl Frampton made a huge save. After 41 played minutes NEW MILLS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Theo Devine. Billie Shackleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Harvey Donnelly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Hargrave in the 58th minute. NEW MILLS F.C.'s Harvey Donnelly proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save NEW MILLS F.C. from getting a goal against them. Kidmore End City's Carl Frampton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan McDonald in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Jerome Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Frampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glenn McGurk kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Keith Rusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giles Gray hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Kidmore End City's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Rusk came free, but Carl Frampton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Frampton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvester Amos in the 78th minute of play. Carl Frampton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Connett went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the game, Nathanial Ottaway was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kidmore End City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEW MILLS F.C. the free kick. Ivan McDonald scored 3-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl Frampton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harvey Donnelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Ottaway, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Dean Llyod hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. NEW MILLS F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
