Spectators: 8039 (Terracing: 6059, Seating: 1820, VIP seats: 160) When Whitypool United's Charis Vlastaras in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Rifles's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Charis Vlastaras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rod Flemming was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the game, Lucas Lonsdale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Rifles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitypool United the free kick. After a rather tough play, The Rifles's Lucas Lonsdale got a free kick in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Charis Vlastaras put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rod Flemming. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Rifles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Whitypool United. Henry Soussan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rod Flemming. 0-3. Rod Flemming didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charis Vlastaras went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, The Rifles's Alfie Halloran seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfie Halloran the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Rifles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfie Halloran had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience was convinced that Charis Vlastaras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rod Flemming was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Rod Flemming stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charis Vlastaras's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Daniel Jenkins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whitypool United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Rod Flemming came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Whitypool United's Charis Vlastaras. But to his dismay, Charis Vlastaras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 37 minutes into the match, Charis Vlastaras notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of The Rifles's Rod Flemming. Rod Flemming was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charis Vlastaras scored 0-9 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rod Flemming, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Charis Vlastaras sped through The Rifles's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rod Flemming. Rod Flemming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Vlastaras, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-10 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Charis Vlastaras made the kick off in the second half. Whitypool United's Waclaw Kaczanek got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charis Vlastaras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rod Flemming read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Whitypool United got a corner. The Rifles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henry Soussan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Rifles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Charis Vlastaras scored to the left of an out of position Rod Flemming, making the score, 0-11. The audience was convinced that Charis Vlastaras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rod Flemming was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fraser Barkley in the 65th minute of play forced The Rifles's goalkeeper Rod Flemming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waclaw Kaczanek might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rod Flemming. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waclaw Kaczanek ran back to his position shaking his head. Whitypool United made a substitution. Stan Wilson replaced Daniel Jenkins. Charis Vlastaras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rod Flemming having to make a save. Stan Wilson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Whitypool United's Charis Vlastaras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. Charis Vlastaras had several of the The Rifles's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-14 score and a disappointed Rod Flemming as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Charis Vlastaras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rod Flemming was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Waclaw Kaczanek made a precise shot to the right of Rod Flemming. The Rifles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. Rod Flemming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Vlastaras in the 87th minute of play. Rod Flemming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waclaw Kaczanek in the 88th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Charis Vlastaras put it in 0-16 from a short distance just to the right of Rod Flemming. Syd Ely recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in The Rifles's zone, Fraser Barkley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rod Flemming came out of the goal and Fraser Barkley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The The Rifles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Whitypool United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
