The Glass Cannon's Rueben Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Colton in the 3rd minute of play. Rueben Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ritchie Holland's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Vince Craven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Andy Husband made a huge save. If Romeo Colton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caleb Fountain charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caleb Fountain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Anonymous FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Caleb Fountain hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anonymous FC's zone, Ron Barnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Husband came out of the goal and Ron Barnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rueben Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ritchie Holland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Vince Craven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Glass Cannon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vince Craven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andy Husband showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnnie Swinscoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute, Rich Canning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as The Glass Cannon's Johnnie Swinscoe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andy Husband. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. Vince Craven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Husband having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd match minute, The Glass Cannon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keiran Henry to maneuver through the defense. When Rich Canning came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Anonymous FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rich Canning couldn't finish the play. Den Sargent scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andy Husband, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andy Husband took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vince Craven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anonymous FC's attentive Thom Dennison managed to snatch the ball when Keiran Henry made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Andy Husband showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Craven, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Reggie Crane was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 80 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anonymous FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Ruben Brighton might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Husband. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Brighton ran back to his position shaking his head. Andy Husband made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnnie Swinscoe in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Vince Craven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Glass Cannon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 94 minutes into the match, Anonymous FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnnie Swinscoe came free, but Andy Husband reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Husband showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnnie Swinscoe in the 99th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Glass Cannon fully deserved thier win.
