Malcolm Gold helped the player get up and apologised. Malcolm Gold kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Whity Pool United's Charis Vlastaras made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rufus Marchant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16thth minute of the game Charis Vlastaras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carlisle United's Rufus Marchant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlisle United's Rufus Marchant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Syd Ely in the 76th minute of play. Rufus Marchant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Vlastaras in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Whity Pool United's Syd Ely nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rufus Marchant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. In the 86th minute, Charis Vlastaras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Charis Vlastaras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rufus Marchant was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Charis Vlastaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rufus Marchant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Whity Pool United had played much better football throughout.
