Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ivan McDonald made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Darren Worth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warren Hargraves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan McDonald in the 9th minute of the match. Silvester Amos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Warren Hargraves having to make a save. In the 10th minute Silvester Amos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warren Hargraves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harvey Donnelly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wes Henderson in the 17th minute. Justin Kenna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, NEW MILLS F.C.'s Jerome Rutherford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Warren Hargraves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bakewell's Blair Kerr got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adrian Revell managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEW MILLS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Revell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Warren Hargraves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Warren Hargraves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan McDonald's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 43 played minutes Bakewell got a freekick which was hit by Wes Henderson. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rubim Pimentel thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Harvey Donnelly, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 1-0. Warren Hargraves made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Adrian Revell sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, NEW MILLS F.C.'s Ivan McDonald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Warren Hargraves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bakewell's zone, Ivan Connett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Hargraves came out of the goal and Ivan Connett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Justin Kenna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wes Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Donnelly having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Bakewell's goalkeeper Warren Hargraves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Revell. NEW MILLS F.C.'s Ivan McDonald got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Connett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Warren Hargraves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Warren Hargraves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan McDonald's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Despite being the better team, NEW MILLS F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
