When Johnnie Swinscoe came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the The Glass Cannon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnnie Swinscoe couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Vince Craven managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Glass Cannon's supporters rose to their feet, but Vince Craven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Brookman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Norris Dancers's Robert Brookman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Craven in the 14th minute of play. Vince Craven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Brookman having to interfere. Johnnie Swinscoe struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Robert Brookman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Glass Cannon. The The Norris Dancers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Brookman should have stopped the shot. Johnnie Swinscoe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Brookman having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in The Norris Dancers's zone, Kieran Sullivan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Brookman came out of the goal and Kieran Sullivan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vince Craven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Robert Brookman made a huge save. In the 66th minute, The Glass Cannon's Vince Craven dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The supporters of The Norris Dancers booed when The Glass Cannon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Barnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnnie Swinscoes short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Robert Brookman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ash Corrigan's late challenge caught a The Glass Cannon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ash Corrigan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, The Norris Dancers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ash Corrigan to maneuver through the defense. Vince Craven's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Robert Brookman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Vince Craven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Glass Cannon's Johnnie Swinscoe got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Brighton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Brookman having to interfere. In the 95th minute, The Norris Dancers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vince Craven fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle sounded The Glass Cannon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Norris Dancers.
