Andre Champion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Murtagh in the 15th minute of the match. The Budleigh Salterton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 32nd minute Zane Thompson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Champion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Budge took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andre Champion. Andre Champion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 44th minute, Zane Thompson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andre Champion was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 47th minute Jordan Budge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Champion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

57 minutes into the game, Laurence Murtagh recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andre Champion. Andre Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Murtagh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordan Budge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Andre Champion made a huge save. With a little luck, Wadebridge's Andre Champion got control of the ball when Laurence Murtagh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Max Strickland hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Murtagh came free, but Andre Champion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Laurence Murtagh got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andre Champion was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andre Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Beckford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Budleigh Salterton's Ray Alsford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Robertson in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Wadebridge getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Max Strickland hit a great ball. Zane Thompson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andre Champion having to make a save. With a little luck, Wadebridge's Andre Champion got control of the ball when Jordan Budge tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Budleigh Salterton's Jordan Budge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andre Champion. Andre Champion yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Ray Alsford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Baldwin in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Budleigh Salterton getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Carl Beckford hit a great ball. The Wadebridge fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Budleigh Salterton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
