Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ray Alsop in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dean Simms prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Alsop in the 22nd minute of play forced Broken bottles FC's goalkeeper Dean Simms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Castledine made a kick off. Machiavellian's Ray Alsop got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Brooke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Washington in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Machiavellian booed when Broken bottles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Moody didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Machiavellian had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
