Andover's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Archie Sansom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Broken bottles FC's Archie Sansom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Swift made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Denis Swift showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sun Chuan Wen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Andover getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Stevie Heywood hit a great ball. Denis Swift didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sun Chuan Wen went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Andover's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Denis Swift took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Routledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Swift showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zak Ramsay in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Ivan Washington had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Swift. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Brendon Doona made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Brendon Doona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Simms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sun Chuan Wen struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Denis Swift didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broken bottles FC. When Ivan Washington fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broken bottles FC's protests and gave Ivan Washington a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Washington kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Denis Swift made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Sun Chuan Wen sent off a good shot on target. Archie Sansom charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Archie Sansom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Broken bottles FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. After 72 played minutes, Andover's Gaz Fielden shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dean Simms came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andover reached it. Andover's Denis Swift played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Routledge in the 73rd minute of play. The supporters of Andover booed when Broken bottles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Washington didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Doona in the 77th minute of play forced Broken bottles FC's goalkeeper Dean Simms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Swift showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Moody in the 81st minute of the match. The shot was a little too simple and Denis Swift could save by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Andover's goalkeeper Denis Swift had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Washington. Denis Swift was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Eddy Moody capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eddy Moody really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Sun Chuan Wen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Swift having to interfere. Andover's Denis Swift played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zak Ramsay in the 95th minute of play. Eddy Moody received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Denis Swift came out and tried to block the shot, but Eddy Moody slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Broken bottles FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
