After some careless play in the FC Metal defense, Tommy Arrowsmith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Guest. The FC Metal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Guest should have stopped the shot. Ruben Guest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trey Rothwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Gary Brown hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lymington City's Tommy Arrowsmith got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Tommy Arrowsmith made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Metal's Ruben Guest tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richie Kennedy made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Zackary Osbon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Ruben Guest was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Metal's Ruben Guest proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Metal from getting a goal against them. FC Metal's Ruben Guest proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Metal from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, FC Metal's goalkeeper Ruben Guest had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trey Rothwell. After 83 minutes of play, Lymington City's Tommy Arrowsmith made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Guest was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Brian Krief took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Ruben Guest to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute, Lymington City's Fraser Savage ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Guest. Ruben Guest yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. Lymington City played a much better game than FC Metal and deserved their victory. The FC Metal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
