FC Manchester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lymington City the free kick. The referee gave Lymington City a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zackary Osbon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Manchester's Rowan Cook. 0-1. Rowan Cook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Bzeu in the 7th minute of the match. Gav Wybrow kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Zackary Osbon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rowan Cook showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Matthew Bzeu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Cook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lymington City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Zackary Osbon hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Matthew Bzeu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rowan Cook was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Matthew Bzeu put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rowan Cook. Trey Rothwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Cook having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Matthew Bzeu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rowan Cook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Bzeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Lymington City's Matthew Bzeu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rowan Cook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Bzeu in the 46th minute of play forced FC Manchester's goalkeeper Rowan Cook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Locke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Matthew Bzeu rounded FC Manchester's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Matthew Bzeu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Cook having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Matthew Bzeu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rowan Cook. Matthew Bzeu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. A nice corner shot did that Zackary Osbon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rowan Cook quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matthew Bzeu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Rowan Cook when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Trey Rothwell might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rowan Cook. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trey Rothwell ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in FC Manchester's zone, Tommy Arrowsmith stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rowan Cook came out of the goal and Tommy Arrowsmith tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FC Manchester defense, Matthew Bzeu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rowan Cook. The FC Manchester fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rowan Cook should have stopped the shot. Rowan Cook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Bzeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Bzeus short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Rowan Cook to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Krief got free with Rowan Cook in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Spike Hooker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lymington City were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FC Manchester's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zackary Osbon took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Zackary Osbon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rowan Cook quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rowan Cook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Arrowsmith, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of Lymington City booed when FC Manchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francis Boston didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zackary Osbon in the 87th minute of play forced FC Manchester's goalkeeper Rowan Cook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Matthew Bzeu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rowan Cook was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Abraham Sala had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Lymington City made a substitution. Damon Byfield replaced Abraham Sala.
