Spike Hooker hit a great ball. Richie Kennedy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rowan Cook read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richie Kennedy made a kick off. Rowan Cook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rodney Rocastle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Locke struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ruben Guest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Manchester. Carl Croft hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Lawrence Tyler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rowan Cook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes FC Manchester got a freekick which was hit by Tyler Parkinson. Richie Kennedy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Cook having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Metal's Ruben Guest got control of the ball when Neil Tucker tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Richie Kennedy put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rowan Cook. Ruben Guest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spike Hooker in the 85th minute of the match. Lawrence Tyler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lawrence Tyler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Connery in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Metal's goalkeeper Ruben Guest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rowan Cook didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richie Kennedy went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Metal had played much better football throughout.
