Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) AFC Raleigh's Michael Broom started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Maclean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Broom in the 6th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind 曼彻斯特联's goalkeeper Pedro Maclean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Dominic Clemence made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Maclean. 曼彻斯特联's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, 曼彻斯特联's goalkeeper Pedro Maclean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominic Clemence. Bart Sharples kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Broom in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Maclean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Michael Broom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Maclean. The goal made the score 2-0. Pedro Maclean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Broom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Maclean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Clemence in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Michael Broom managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Raleigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Broom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Maclean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sean Hamilton to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominic Clemence in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Maclean saved 曼彻斯特联 from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Broom in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Maclean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Maclean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wally Cheesman in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Michael Broom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Raleigh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With 68 minutes on the clock, Dan Sherman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 68th minute, one of 曼彻斯特联:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 曼彻斯特联. After 73 played minutes AFC Raleigh got a freekick which was hit by Robbie Tuck. 80 minutes into the match, 曼彻斯特联's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Broom came free, but Pedro Maclean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Michael Broom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Maclean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Sean Hamilton in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC Raleigh's Duncan Ingram. Pedro Maclean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Clemence in the 95th minute of play. Dominic Clemence took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Maclean. Pedro Maclean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the referee ended the match the AFC Raleigh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
