In the 29thth minute of the game Syd Renton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but London Athletic's Matias Bulhosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matias Bulhosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Syd Renton's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Ashley Shipley kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Louie Medlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josh Dyson was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
