Benjamin Caton scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliciano Artaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Newman took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Artaldo. Feliciano Artaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Andy Windsor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viking Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Windsor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Artaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Benjamin Caton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliciano Artaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Cityzens's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Caton came free, but Feliciano Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cityzens's Reuben Osborn got a free kick in the 30th minute. A hard shot 33 in the game by Ozzy Bridge from a close distance when the talented Phil Guest managed to make a qualified save. Viking Rovers's players were relieved. When Aaron Newman came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Viking Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Newman couldn't finish the play. Feliciano Artaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Caton in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cityzens's Beniamin Czarnecki got a free kick in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Ralf Silk notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Cityzens's Feliciano Artaldo. Feliciano Artaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The tension between the Viking Rovers and the Cityzens players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute of the match, Benjamin Caton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Feliciano Artaldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ozzy Bridge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phil Guest having to make a save. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viking Rovers's goalkeeper Phil Guest, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Cityzens got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Higgins. Ian Pointon struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Feliciano Artaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viking Rovers. 96 minutes into the match, Cityzens's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Windsor came free, but Feliciano Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tristan Higgins kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
