The supporters of Leamington Spa FC booed when Cityzens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Dubiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Bridge in the 10th minute of play forced Leamington Spa FC's goalkeeper Josh Dyson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Syd Renton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cityzens's Augusto Cardozo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Leamington Spa FC. The supporters of Leamington Spa FC booed when Cityzens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stu Poole didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boguslaw Dubiel charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boguslaw Dubiel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Feliciano Artaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Leamington Spa FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Syd Renton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Cityzens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trevor Huxtable to maneuver through the defense. When Ashley Shipley came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Leamington Spa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Shipley couldn't finish the play. Syd Renton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Feliciano Artaldo made a huge save. After 62 minutes of play, Leamington Spa FC's Syd Renton made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliciano Artaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cityzens getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Trevor Huxtable hit a great ball. Feliciano Artaldo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Syd Renton sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute, Beniamin Czarnecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cityzens's Feliciano Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Blunt in the 78th minute of play. Feliciano Artaldo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Syd Renton sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, George Blunt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliciano Artaldo. The goal made the score 0-7. George Blunt kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the match was over Leamington Spa FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cityzens throughout the match.
