With his leg Pedro Maclean managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when London Athletic's Louie Medlin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 曼彻斯特联's Pedro Maclean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sol Cox in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, 曼彻斯特联's Pedro Maclean got control of the ball when Louie Medlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Maclean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 曼彻斯特联's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Louie Medlin scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Maclean, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sol Cox in the 24th minute of play forced 曼彻斯特联's goalkeeper Pedro Maclean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louie Medlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pedro Maclean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sol Cox in the 28th minute of play forced 曼彻斯特联's goalkeeper Pedro Maclean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Maclean came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by London Athletic's Olly Kearney. But to his dismay, Olly Kearney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in 曼彻斯特联's zone, Louie Medlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Maclean came out of the goal and Louie Medlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sol Cox in the 41st minute of play forced 曼彻斯特联's goalkeeper Pedro Maclean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Louie Medlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 曼彻斯特联's Pedro Maclean was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Louie Medlin made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sean Hamilton during the 53rd minute. London Athletic's Vernon Beck was substituted for Louie Medlin. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 曼彻斯特联! After a defensive mix-up in 曼彻斯特联's zone, Vernon Beck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Maclean came out of the goal and Vernon Beck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When London Athletic's Vernon Beck in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 曼彻斯特联's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute Sebastian Webster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Maclean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, London Athletic's Vernon Beck made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Maclean was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute Sol Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Maclean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Maclean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vernon Beck in the 92nd minute of the match. Pedro Maclean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sol Cox in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the London Athletic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
