Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tony Robins made the kick off which started today's match. Junior Bridge took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Ingram. Alfred Ingram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Chipping Sodbury United's Jim Nicoll got control of the ball when Zane Douglas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Nat Peyton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chilcompton's Alfred Ingram. Alfred Ingram was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chilcompton's Alfred Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Simpson in the 11th minute of play. Darryl Astridge kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Tony Robins received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jim Nicoll came out and tried to block the shot, but Tony Robins slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 16th minute. If Junior Bridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chipping Sodbury United getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nat Peyton hit a great ball. Zane Douglas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jim Nicoll made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Chipping Sodbury United's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Peacock came free, but Jim Nicoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Ingram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Bridge in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Chilcompton's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Bridge came free, but Alfred Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Simpson in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Ingram prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nat Peyton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alfred Ingram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Simpson in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Junior Bridge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Chipping Sodbury United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chilcompton:s goal. If Tony Robins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Robins in the 59th minute of play forced Chipping Sodbury United's goalkeeper Jim Nicoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Edward Jordoan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Ingram showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Chipping Sodbury United's goal looked a bit too open when Zane Douglas came free, but Jim Nicoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Alfred Ingram tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Chilcompton's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Bridge came free, but Alfred Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Marc Cutts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Alfred Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Chilcompton's Zane Douglas in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chipping Sodbury United's goalie prevented a goal. Darryl Astridge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Robins in the 97th minute of play forced Chipping Sodbury United's goalkeeper Jim Nicoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zane Douglas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chipping Sodbury United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
