After 22 played minutes, Blandford Forum's Tyler Cordingley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jim Nicoll came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blandford Forum reached it. If Syd Pallister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jim Nicoll didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lewis Milton went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Syd Pallister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jim Nicoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Milton in the 34th minute of play forced Chipping Sodbury United's goalkeeper Jim Nicoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Blandford Forum got a freekick which was hit by Will Nelson. A collision led to Chipping Sodbury United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lewis Milton was the one to do the kick off. Syd Pallister succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 60thth minute of the game Junior Bridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blandford Forum's Liam Bray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Chipping Sodbury United's Jim Nicoll got control of the ball when Syd Pallister tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nat Peyton kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Chipping Sodbury United's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Milton came free, but Jim Nicoll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liam Bray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Bridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Junior Bridge in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liam Bray saved Blandford Forum from getting behind. If Syd Pallister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Simpson in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liam Bray prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
