Spectators: 8066 (Terracing: 6051, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rob Hurren got the match started through his kick off. Kris Arrowsmith came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Earls's Rob Hurren. But to his dismay, Rob Hurren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jermaine Bullock kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Jermaine Bullock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stu Leadbeater in the 10th minute of play forced Emsworth's goalkeeper Kris Arrowsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Emsworth got a freekick which was hit by Liam Milner. Lance Holdroyd made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Victor Hewitt sent off a good shot on target. Emsworth's Kris Arrowsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Hurren in the 19th minute of play. Seb Millman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute Rob Hurren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kris Arrowsmith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Emsworth defense, Gwyn Gold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kris Arrowsmith. The Emsworth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kris Arrowsmith should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Seb Millman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nicholas Sparks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Earls's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicholas Sparks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kris Arrowsmith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute of the match, Liam Milner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lance Holdroyd saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half Fc Earls were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liam Milner was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Gwyn Gold took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Kris Arrowsmith to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Hurren got free with Kris Arrowsmith in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 minutes of play, Fc Earls's Rob Hurren made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kris Arrowsmith was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lance Holdroyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Hewitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute of the match, Rob Hurren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kris Arrowsmith was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Victor Hewitt's late challenge caught a Fc Earls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Hewitt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Emsworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Hewitt to maneuver through the defense. Lance Holdroyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Milner in the 74th minute of play. Fc Earls's Lance Holdroyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hewitt in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Emsworth booed when Fc Earls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Sparks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rob Hurren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Arrowsmith having to interfere. Fc Earls's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
